Review – “Cancer Confidential”

Cancer Confidential” is a  book about natural cancer cures that was written by Professor Keith Scott-Mumby, MD, MB ChB, PhD. Professor Scott-Mumby is a well-known British alternative medical writer and researcher who spent nearly 40 years as a practising physician.

I really like the way Professor Scott-Mumby uses his medical training and experience to make this a very interesting and very usable book, he tells you from his actual experience with patients, what works well, what doesn’t, and why. And he explains the science behind the natural cancer cures so that it is understandable.

Cancer Confidential” is a large (200+ pages) book that goes into many different alternative and natural cancer therapies, many that you can administer at home, and also quite a few that are administered at clinics by physicians. Information on where to buy the required ingredients and how to take them are given for each do-it-yourself treatment. Contact information is also given for each therapy that must be administered by a physician or in a specialized clinic. And again, the professor gives his assessment of each natural cancer treatment, including whether or not he feels it is worth trying.

”Cancer Confidential” is my personal favorite book on natural cancer cures because of the large number of natural cancer therapies it covers that are not mentioned in any other cancer books, and for the personal comments and recommendations that are made. I like the way the Professor writes, the book is an easy and enjoyable read and the science behind each treatment is very well explained, but if you want to gloss over the science you will still understand the treatment.

What do I not like about this book?  There is a little too much science included for me, so I tend to gloss over some of it.  But many people will love the explanations of the science behind the treatments.   ”Cancer Confidential” keeps you interested, it’s a good read and I definitely recommend it, because there is a lot of information in this book that you simply will not find anywhere else.  And sign up for the Professor’s free newsletter, it is very good, too.
